Captain Gerald Gouveia Jnr. has been re-elected Chairman of the Private Sector Commission (PSC) for the 2026–2027 term at the Commission’s Annual General Meeting on Friday.
Members also elected Kathy Smith as Vice Chairwoman, Imran Saccoor as Treasurer, Josephine Tapp-Rutherford as Honorary Secretary, and Manniram Prashad as Corporate Coordinator.
The PSC said the meeting reaffirmed members’ commitment to advancing private sector development, economic growth, and national prosperity.
The organisation thanked members and stakeholders for their participation and support, and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting a competitive business environment, sustainable economic growth, and representing Guyana’s private sector.
