Papa San set to ‘ignite’ Gospel Fest with unforgettable performance tonight

Jamaican gospel artist, Papa San, will take to the stage of the National Exhibition Centre in Georgetown this evening for an intense Gospel Fest performance.

The artist has already arrived in Guyana, and according to a show coordinator, Pastor Cordell McClure, attendees can expect a phenomenal time of praise and worship in an energetic atmosphere.

Papa San, who has promised an electrifying night of ministry, is scheduled to perform for at least an hour and a half.

He will be sharing the stage with some of Guyana’s most phenomenal gospel artists, including Samuel Medas, Cherlyn Maloney, Moriah Collymore, Disi, Timothy Roberts, Radikal One, and Rochelle Benn.

“It’s an event that breaks denominational barriers. It’s not about denomination. We just come together as Christians and fellowship. The vision is really to create an opportunity for Christians who might not necessarily be interested in the revelry and other activities that might be happening during Mash time and want something in line with our beliefs. So, the idea is to bring everybody together, under one umbrella…” McClure told Ignite News.

“Everything is in place. I’ve been communicating with Papa San. I’ve been communicating with his manager… I’ve met with him personally in New York, and all is set,” he assured.

McClure reassured that local artists have been rehearsing and are set to perform sound checks earlier on Sunday.

“So, everything is in place, and what we promise is what will happen… We’ve also created a Gospel Fest team with a group of young people who will also be ministering,” he noted.

McClure advises attendees to be on time, as he noted that the show will commence promptly at 19:00 hrs.
