Public Utilities and Aviation Minister Deodat Indar announced on Saturday that an additional 1.5-megawatt portable generating set has arrived at Bosai’s Linden power house, as efforts continue to increase electricity supply in Region Ten.

Installation works are underway, including transformer and fuel-line connections. The unit is expected to begin generating power by the middle of next week.

The additional generation comes as Linden has recently experienced electricity supply challenges, with available generation struggling to meet demand.

The town has consequently implemented measures to manage the shortfall while work continues to improve generation capacity.
