Teacher placed on leave amid sexual allegations at Brickdam Secondary School

A teacher at Brickdam Secondary School has been placed on administrative leave following allegations of a sexual nature made by students, the Ministry of Education (MoE) said.

The ministry was informed of the allegations on Friday, 13 March 2026, and acted immediately in accordance with standard operating procedures.

The Welfare Department of the Department of Education has met with parents of affected students and issued referral letters to the Child Protection Agency. Meetings were held on 13, 16, and 17 of March 2026 with three parents in total.

Each student involved is scheduled to undergo a forensic interview conducted by Blossom Inc., with one interview completed to date.

The Ministry of Education emphasised that, contrary to claims circulating on social media, there has been no delay in the investigative process.
