The stage is set for the highly anticipated Stage of Champions Elite Pro Qualifier 2025, happening Saturday, June 7 at 19:00 hrs at the National Cultural Centre.
Now in its sixth year, the flagship bodybuilding event—branded the One Guyana Stage of Champions—is organised by the Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation and is flexing strong support from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and the National Sports Commission.
Organisers praised the Ministry and the Commission for their continued financial and logistical support, calling it crucial to the show’s success.
Event coordinator, Videsh Sookram, shared that this edition is set to be the biggest yet, mainly because, for the first time ever, Pro Cards will be awarded on home soil; opening doors to significant earning potential for athletes.
Following recent certification by the International Bodybuilding Federation (IBF), winners in the Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, and Bikini divisions will qualify for professional status.
Top prizes include G$600,000 for the Bodybuilding champion and G$300,000 each for the Men’s Physique and Bikini winners.
A unique feature this year is the introduction of a children’s bodybuilding segment, sponsored by Camille’s Institute, adding a fresh and inclusive dimension to the show.
