Roraima Airways taking luxury to new heights with ‘Air Dash’

Aiming to enhance corporate air travel within the country, Roraima Airways is set to launch its brand-new ‘Air Dash’ executive flight service on Monday.

Air Dash will provide luxury flight services tailored not only to the corporate community but also as a premier “executive tourism product.”

Speaking to Ignite News today, Air Dash Director Gerry Gouveia Jr. stated that the service is designed to offer a world-class travel experience for high-value clients who need to efficiently manage their time and travel within the country.

Clients running behind schedule will be able to make last-minute reservations while enjoying access to executive lounge seating, a personalised concierge service, and the ‘Dash Pass’—a feature that allows clients to enjoy expedited security processing and receive VIP treatment.

“It is an executive tourism product catering to both locals and visitors to Guyana—high-value clients and high-net-worth individuals who are in a rush and need a convenient, reliable service,” Gouveia said. “It’s for people with busy schedules who want to get where they need to be and who value their time. That’s why our company motto is ‘Time is Money.’”

Air Dash is set to launch on February 17 with its Airbus H125 helicopter. Within two months, the company expects to expand its fleet to include private jets and other aircraft, such as the newly acquired twin-engine, piston-powered Tecnam P2012 Traveller.

Currently, the company’s fleet is operated by an international pilot, but a local trainee is undergoing training as an understudy. Additionally, six local staff members have been trained as customer coordinators and representatives to ensure a luxury experience and top-tier customer service.

While Air Dash currently operates domestic flights, it plans to expand to corporate flights serving Suriname, Barbados, and other Caribbean countries in the near future.

The Airbus H125 helicopter seats four passengers, while the Tecnam P2012 Traveller accommodates nine. Air Dash’s helicopter service is the fastest way to travel between Georgetown and Cheddi Jagan International Airport, with a flight time of just 10 minutes.

The company states that it adheres to the strictest international civil aviation regulations and is committed to environmental sustainability with its eco-friendly carriers. Additionally, it has pledged to train and employ more Guyanese personnel as part of its long-term development strategy.
