Golfers from across the Caribbean and North America will gather at the Lusignan Golf Club on October 31 and November 1 for the Brava Guyana Open Golf Championship 2026.

Brava Solutions has renewed its title sponsorship of the tournament for a fifth consecutive year.

The field is expected to draw competitors from Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, the United States and Canada.

The championship opens with a Grand Opening Cocktail Reception on Friday, October 30, before play begins on Saturday. Entrants will contest handicap flights of 0–9, 10–18 and 19–28, alongside senior and ladies' categories.

In a statement, the Lusignan Golf Club said Brava's steadfast support had "brought structure, energy and visibility to the tournament", helping to raise the profile of the Guyana Open. The club also paid tribute to the contributions of SLB, Umami, Baker Hughes, Chris Persaud (Tristar), Value4U, Feroze Barakat (Odyssey Tours), Redymix Concrete Limited, GYSBI, Gulf Engineering and GBTI.

The club added that the rise in women's participation was an encouraging sign for the future of golf in Guyana.
The event is open to the public free of charge.
