The stage is set for two pulsating weekends of tapeball action as the biggest zone in the Lotto/Let'sBet One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast takes centre stage from September 26.

Round-of-32 action bowls off across four grounds on September 26, with Malteenoes Sports Club, Ogle Community Centre Ground, Better Hope Community Centre Ground, and Lusignan Community Centre Ground hosting the opening fixtures.

The competition then shifts to the Demerara Cricket Club and Lusignan for the round of 16 on September 27, before Lusignan hosts all quarter-final clashes on October 3.

Across these first three match days, games will be played in four back-to-back time slots starting at 09:30h, followed by 11:30h, 13:30h and 15:30h.

The zonal climax takes place at the Enmore Community Centre Ground on Sunday, October 4, with semi-final fixtures at 10:30h and 12:30h, followed by the final at 15:30h.

Admission is free across all venues, though patrons are advised that coolers will not be allowed for the quarter-finals and zone finals.

A packed field of 32 teams will battle for ultimate supremacy in the Georgetown/East Coast Demerara Zone, the final qualification step before the marquee event moves to Essequibo for its grand conclusion.

"Based on some team submissions so far, it looks like we will have a galaxy of stars in this zone, the final zone before we head to Anna Regina for the National finals on October 11," noted Tournament Director John Ramsingh.

Three zone champions have already booked their places following intense qualifying campaigns.

Grillmaster Sip N Play All-Stars produced a series of clinical performances to secure the Berbice zone title, Mahdia – Movements Family dominated the East Bank/West Demerara zone, and Lusignan Bulls DTP II franchise claimed bragging rights in Essequibo.

Once the Georgetown/East Coast representative is locked in, all roads lead to the Anna Regina National Stadium on Sunday, October 11, where the country's premier tapeball sides will contend for a lucrative purse.

The national champions will take home $2 million, the runners-up $1 million, and the two losing semi-finalists $500,000 each.
Each zone winner also pocketed $500,000.

Individual brilliance will also be heavily rewarded. The tournament's Most Valuable Player will drive away with a brand-new motorbike alongside a $150,000 cash prize.

The leading run-scorer and top wicket-taker are each set to collect $100,000 plus a television set, while the Player of the Final earns $75,000.

Players finishing with the Super Strike Rate and Best Economy Rate will take home $50,000 apiece.
