A 30-year-old self-employed woman of Herstelling, East Bank Demerara, was robbed at knifepoint on Thursday after two men in a white motor car approached her as she walked along a street in the area.
Police said the woman had just exited a supermarket at Herstelling about 13:00hrs when the men pulled up. One of the suspects, armed with a knife, exited the vehicle and pointed the weapon at her before relieving her of a yellow metal chain and a yellow metal ring. She sustained injuries to one of her fingers during the incident.
