No deaths reported as aviation authority launches investigation into Region Seven aircraft accident

The Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has launched an investigation into an aircraft accident involving a Cessna 182P, registration N9347G, which occurred near the Aricheng Airstrip in Region Seven during takeoff.

Preliminary information indicates there were no fatalities. The GCAA said it is working with relevant stakeholders to determine the cause of the incident.

Authorities have not yet released further details as the investigation continues.
