Guyanese Rosanna Fung, the 2025 IFBB World Champion, has secured an impressive second-place finish at the IFBB Malta Pro Show, further strengthening her reputation as one of the rising stars in professional bodybuilding on the international circuit.
The Malta Pro Show, regarded as one of the premier stops on the European professional bodybuilding calendar, attracted a highly competitive lineup of elite athletes from across the world. Competing against seasoned professionals and in front of an enthusiastic home-region crowd, Fung delivered a disciplined and polished performance that earned her a spot on the podium.
While her camp noted that the result fell just short of her ultimate goal, they emphasized that the experience marks another important step in her continued development at the professional level. Her consistency, conditioning, and stage presence were highlighted as key strengths throughout the competition.
Attention now turns to her upcoming appearance at the Barbados Pro Show, where she is expected to be among the leading contenders for the top position.
The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport has extended congratulations to Fung, commending her dedication, discipline, and continued excellence in representing Guyana on the global sporting stage.
