A private sector delegation will visit St. Kitts and Nevis next month to explore investment opportunities and deepen commercial ties, as both countries build on recent agreements covering agriculture, security, and governance reform.
The visit will focus on expanding cooperation in agriculture, tourism, and banking initiatives, following the signing of three memoranda of understanding between the two Caribbean nations on food security, security cooperation, and public sector modernisation.
Recently, BK Tiwari Group of Companies Chief Executive Officer Brian Tiwari hosted a working breakfast in honour of St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Terrance Drew during his visit to Guyana.
During the engagement, members of the visiting delegation, BK Group officials, and representatives of the World Trade Centre Georgetown attended the meeting, including Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) Executive Chairman Komal Samaroo. Discussions focused on advancing regional partnerships.
World Trade Centre Georgetown Executive Director Brian Kirton said DDL, which already operates subsidiaries in St. Kitts and Nevis, has maintained a presence in the market for more than two decades, underscoring existing commercial links between the two countries.
