Deputy Solicitor General Shoshanna V. Lall was awarded the WeLead Outstanding Woman of Excellence Award, the organisation’s highest honour, at the Second Annual WeLead Women Who Lead Gala and Women in Business Awards held on Saturday at the Jaigobin Hotel in Anna Regina.

The award recognises women whose leadership, public service and national impact set them apart as role models for women and girls across the country. WeLead said Lall’s work on national bodies, particularly in child protection and governance frameworks, reflects a commitment to justice, integrity and nation-building. Her leadership, the association noted, continues to inspire women to pursue leadership roles with purpose.

The awards ceremony forms part of WeLead Association’s efforts to promote women’s leadership, entrepreneurship and community development, with a focus on recognising excellence and encouraging future generations of women leaders.
