Trans Guyana Airways will provide transport services for the KFC Goodwill International School Football Tournament, which kicks off on Sunday at the Ministry of Education ground.

Teams from Trinidad, The Bahamas, Jamaica, Suriname and Brazil are set to compete. Tournament organisers said on Thursday that Trans Guyana will fly the Brazilian contingent to Guyana under a sponsorship agreement with the Petra Organisation.

Petra co-director Troy Mendonca said the group welcomed the airline’s continued support. “Since our inception, Trans Guyana has assisted us in bringing teams from Regions 9 and 7, and now they are helping with the Brazilian team,” he said.

Guyana’s defending champions, Chase Academic Foundation, along with West Ruimveldt and Annai Secondary, will also feature when matches begin at 12:00 pm on Sunday.
