Police said they have recovered clothing believed to have been worn by a terrorism suspect wanted in connection with Sunday’s fatal explosion at the Mobil Fuel Station at Regent and King Streets, Georgetown.
The blast, which occurred on October 26, killed a child and injured four others.
In a statement, Police said detectives retrieved the discarded clothing at a location in Region Three. Investigators have also positively identified the principal suspect, described as a Spanish-speaking foreign national, who remains at large.
A wanted bulletin has been issued for the suspect on terrorism charges, police said.
The GPF’s Corporate Communications Unit noted that further updates would be provided as the manhunt and investigation continue.
