SJB dominate second weekend of Courts Pee-Wee Football Tournament

St. John the Baptist (SJB) delivered a commanding performance on Saturday, crushing Ann’s Grove Primary 10-0 at the Ministry of Education ground. Neymar Edwards scored a hat-trick, Aaron Christian netted six goals, and Alex Pearson added one.

The day began with Charity Primary defeating St. Aloysius Primary 6-0, featuring hat-tricks from Troy Boston and Adon Holmes.

Potaro Primary secured a narrow 3-1 win over Smith Memorial Primary, with Lamon Telemaque scoring twice and Marek Timmerman once. Smith Memorial’s sole goal came from Derick Holder.

Other results saw Agatash Primary defeat Clonbrook Primary 5-0; Georgetown International Academy (GIA) upset St. Stephen’s Primary 3-0; Leonora Primary beat St. Pius Primary 2-0; North Georgetown Primary edged Goed Fortuin Primary 2-0; Winfer Gardens Primary won 1-0 against Redeemer Primary; and West Ruimveldt claimed a 5-0 victory over Sophia Primary.

The Courts Pee-Wee Football Tournament will resume at the Ministry of Education ground on October 11.
