A 20-year-old orthopedic technician attached to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) was on Monday charged under the Cyber Crime Act for allegedly transmitting a private image of a woman.

The accused, Treveir Sinclair, also known as “Tratts,” of West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was arrested on September 10, 2025, by ranks of the Alberttown Police Station.

He was charged with “publication or transmission of image of a private area of a person,” contrary to Section 16(2)(a) of the Cyber Crime Act 16 of 2018. The alleged offence was committed against a popular social media personality.
