Guyana Amazon Warriors Head Coach, Lance Klusener, during a team training session on Tuesday afternoon, highlighted the focus of his team for the remainder of the 2025 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) season.
“The focus is just on us, I think we’ve let ourselves down a little bit in terms of maybe kicking on and individuals making a bigger score; so that is going to be really our focus, just as a group, read the game better as a batting unit,” Klusener stated.
Further, Klusener also highlighted what will continue to be the key ingredient to the success of the Amazon Warriors for the remainder of the CPL season.
“I thought the bowling has been excellent, we based most of our attack around spin, especially here at Providence as well, it’s spin to win.
“I thought they were excellent, if anything I think we have leaked a few runs in the last five overs against a couple of teams, so we just need to execute better there,” Klusener mentioned.
The Guyana Amazon Warriors face the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons from 19:00 hrs tonight at the Providence Stadium in their eighth match of the season.
