Elton Dharry Promotions and NexGen Global Promotions, in collaboration with the Guyana Boxing Board of Control and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, is set to host a super fight night on August Nine at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
The contracts were finalised recently with the event promising to be an unforgettable experience for boxing fans nationwide.
The main event features a thrilling 10-round bout for the Guyana Cruiserweight National Title, where internet sensation Laured Stewart will face James Moore in what promises to be an intense battle.
Guyanese boxing legend Elton Dharry is also on the card, preparing for a world title shot in October with a challenging fight against rugged Panamanian Roger Saldana.
Rising star Keevin Allicock will meet Colombia’s Omar Cuello, a seasoned opponent known for his knockout power, while veteran Dexter Marques takes on Colombian fighter Sammy Ramos in another exciting matchup.
An amateur undercard, presented by the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA), will kick off the night, as announced by GBA president Steve Ninvalle.
The event is proudly sponsored by Pine Grove Inn, Long Island’s top spot for steak and seafood dining, with further details about the undercard and event to be revealed soon.
