Six days after promising a joint statement on their meeting, WIN and APNU have revealed that they are considering appointing a team,to develop guidelines for more meetings.
The proposed six-member group would include three representatives from each side and would determine how the two opposition groups engage in the future.
But the team itself has not been approved.
WIN must first consult its leadership and membership about whether it will participate, while APNU must consult the other parties in its coalition before selecting representatives.
During their meeting, the two sides discussed the Guyana Elections Commission, the Region 10 Regional Democratic Council impasse and nominations to the Local Government Commission.
No decisions were reached on those matters.
