Access to contraceptive services could become easier for women and girls outside Georgetown, as the Guyana Responsible Parenthood Association (GRPA) prepares to launch an E-Clinic.
Executive Director Kobe Smith said the initiative, expected to launch next month, will allow people in the regions, including remote communities, to request contraceptives and other services without having to travel to Georgetown.
“One of the things we will be doing within the next month, we will be launching the GRPA E-Clinic, where persons can reach out to us and order contraceptives or services we’ll deliver to their homes or in their communities,” he told Ignite News.
Smith said while GRPA currently conducts mobile outreaches, the E-Clinic will provide a more permanent way for people to request services and commodities, with deliveries made to their homes, workplaces or communities.
