The Promotech National Top Flight Golf League will be decided on April 12 at Lusignan Golf Club, with seven players still in contention after a tightly contested penultimate round.
Patrick Prashad delivered the standout performance of the round, sweeping the Front Nine, Back Nine and Overall titles to collect the maximum 12 points. The result lifted him to 15 points overall and back into title contention.
Patanjilee Persaud moved into the overall lead with a steady third-place finish, earning three points to reach 18.
Four players sit just one point behind on 17 — Brian Hackett, Joseph Szeplaki, Fazil Haniff and Videsh Persaud — leaving the standings finely balanced heading into the final round.
Bala Vinjimoor finished second in the round to take five points, while Mike Mangal added two points to move to 12 overall. Chet Bowling is on 11 points and Keshan Bacchus on 10, with Ian Gouveia and Orson Ferguson both on six.
Players faced difficult conditions after a week of rain left the course soft, placing a premium on accuracy and course management.
The inaugural league title will be decided in the final round, with the leaderboard tightly packed and multiple contenders in reach of the championship.
