The Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG), in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security, launched Flame and Flavour: Tapas, Rum and Wine – Under The Stars on Monday at Scotty’s Smokehouse.
The event aims to highlight Guyana’s growing culinary talent through live cooking, open-fire techniques, and interactive chef experiences. It provides a platform for chefs to showcase creativity while enhancing the country’s tourism offerings.

Several women-owned businesses will also be featured, supporting the ministry’s goal of promoting local entrepreneurs in the tourism sector.
