The latest round saw strong performances and a shake-up in points. Fazil Haniff claimed the overall net victory with a composed net 66, earning maximum points after a net 33 on both the front and back nines. Joseph Szeplaki followed with net 67 for second place, while Payton George (net 69), Brian Hackett (net 72), and Chet Bowling (net 72) also collected points.
Patrick Prashad’s net 71 would have earned points, but an incorrectly marked and signed scorecard led to disqualification, affecting the overall standings.
After six rounds, Fazil Haniff, Videsh Persaud, and Joseph Szeplaki share 17 points each at the top. Brian Hackett sits on 16, with Patanjilee Persaud close behind on 15 points. Mike Mangal and Keshan Bacchus have 10 points each, while Chet Bowling remains within striking distance.
With just two rounds remaining, the tightly contested leaderboard sets the stage for an exciting conclusion to the eight-round league.
