For years, a single mother in Coffee Grove worked tirelessly to provide for her two children, despite living in an inadequate home. On Saturday, her struggle was replaced with relief, gratitude, and renewed hope.
Farah Mohamed is now the proud owner of a brand-new home, built under the Men on Mission (MoM) initiative—transforming not just her living space, but her family’s future.
The emotional handover was witnessed by Minister Madanlall Ramraj, along with Regional Chairman Devin Mohan and Vice Chairman Humace Oodit, who shared in the moment as the family received the keys to their new beginning.
The home replaces the structure that once stood on the same property, now offering safety, comfort, and dignity for a mother determined to give her children a better life.
Made possible through the support of corporate sponsor and contractor Takash Persaud, this marks the seventh MoM home of its kind in the region, highlighting the power of collaboration in uplifting vulnerable families.
Mohamed expressed immense joy at receiving her new home on Eid Day, extending her gratitude to the MoM initiative and thanking Minister Ramraj for the support.
