The Ministry of Home Affairs has launched a full investigation into allegations of sexual exploitation, abuse of authority, and misconduct at the Police Force Academy.
The ministry has directed the Criminal Investigation Department and the Office of Professional Responsibility to carry out the probes immediately after receiving the report, a statement said.
It added that it treats the allegations “with the utmost seriousness” and reiterated a zero-tolerance policy for abuse, exploitation, or misconduct within agencies under its oversight.
“Any individual—regardless of rank, position, or tenure—found to have engaged in wrongdoing will be charged and held fully accountable under the law,” the ministry said, noting that due process will be observed and investigations conducted thoroughly and fairly.
The statement stressed that the welfare, dignity, and protection of all trainees and officers within the Police Force remain a priority.
