Police investigating alleged attack on international visitor
The man who allegedly assaulted D'Oliveria

The Guyana Police Force has opened an investigation into an alleged attack on international visitor Antony D’Oliveira, host of the Jumps Travel Documentary YouTube channel.
The incident, which was captured on video and is circulating online, is being treated seriously by authorities.

Police said acts of violence are unacceptable and contravene Guyana’s laws and societal values of safety, hospitality and respect.
Investigators are reviewing footage, conducting enquiries and pursuing all available leads to identify and apprehend the individual responsible, the force said. Police urged anyone with information to contact the nearest station.
