New champions will be crowned in the third edition of the One Guyana / Kashif & Shanghai / President’s Futsal Championship following the semifinal round on Tuesday evening at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

Sparta Boss suffered a shocking loss to Bent Street ‘A’ in the final semifinal of the night, going down 6-4 in a nail-biting contest.
Beveney McGarrell opened the scoring in the 4th minute and secured his double in the 40th minute for Bent Street, while Colin Nelson (20th, 35th) and Jemar Harrigan (38th, 39th) also scored doubles in the match.

Nicholas McArthur was outstanding for Sparta Boss, netting a double in the 25th and 31st minutes of the game.
Road Warriors also made it to the final with a 9-0 drubbing of Bomb Squad.
The final will be played on 2 January at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, with West Ruimveldt facing Dolphin Secondary in the School Boys’ final, and defending champions Lady Kaimaimas against Lady Royals in the women’s final.
