The Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) has expressed gratitude to Corporate Guyana for its support throughout 2025, highlighting the importance of private-sector partnerships for the club’s growth and community impact.
Support from businesses enabled the club to host a full calendar of tournaments this year, including the inaugural GBTI Mastercard Golf Classic, the STP Investments Inc. Golf Tournament, the AmCham Guyana Golf Classic, the Trophy Stall Golf Tournament, the Banks Beer Cup, and the Brava Guyana Open Golf Tournament. The events drew local and regional competitors and helped raise the profile of golf in Guyana.
Lusignan Golf Club Public Relations Officer, Dr. Joann Deo, said the partnerships benefited both the club and corporate sponsors. “Through organisations such as GBTI, STP Investments, AmCham Guyana, Trophy Stall, Banks DIH, and Brava Solutions, we delivered a competitive and vibrant tournament season that benefited our members, visiting golfers, and sponsors alike,” she said.
Dr. Deo added that corporate involvement provides networking and visibility opportunities for companies while supporting the club’s course maintenance, event hosting, and development initiatives.
The Lusignan Golf Club said it plans to expand its corporate partnerships in 2026 to enhance facilities, broaden youth and community programmes, and strengthen golf’s sustainability nationwide.
