Bent St A dominates Back Circle to claim VP ‘Champion of Champions’ Futsal title

In a commanding performance, Bent St A defeated Back Circle 4-1 to win the 2nd VP ‘Champion of Champions’ Futsal Cup on Wednesday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
The match opened with Bent St A taking the lead in the 11th minute after a defensive misplay, a goal that held until halftime. Back Circle struck early in the second half, with Ravin Naughton equalising in the 23rd minute. However, Bent St A quickly regained momentum as Colin Nelson scored moments later. Bevney Marks then sealed the victory with two goals, including one in the final minute.
For their win, Bent St A earned $1,000,000 and the championship trophy, while Back Circle received $500,000 and a trophy. In other results, Team Spirit defeated Bent St B 3-2 to secure third place and $300,000. In the U-17 final, Back Circle edged Kingston 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
