Deadly Berbice accident: Seline died from multiple skull fractures, several injured discharged

Sixteen-year-old Jodea Seline died from multiple skull fractures from a motor vehicle accident, a post-mortem examination confirmed on Monday.
The teen died in fatal minibus crash on the Number 63 Public Road, Corentyne, an accident that claimed the life of her teacher, Jerome Bernard and left several students injured.
Government Pathologist Dr. Vivekanand Bridgemohan conducted the examination at Bailey’s Funeral Home in the presence of Police and relatives. The body has been released for burial.
Meanwhile, regional health officials said six of the 18 injured teachers and students have been discharged from the Number 75 Regional Hospital. Two remain in stable condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital, while seven others are still receiving treatment at the Number 75 facility.
Education Minister Sonia Parag and members of the Region Six Regional Democratic Council extended condolences to the families of Seline and 31-year-old teacher Jerome Bernard.
