ActionINVEST Caribbean Inc. (ACI) is urging Guyanese entrepreneurs to join GrowthCLUB, ActionCOACH’s quarterly strategic planning workshop, offering a full day of coaching, networking, and a tailored 90-day action plan to help businesses scale and compete internationally.
The event is scheduled for November 29 at the World Trade Centre Georgetown (WTCG). Participants will gain access to guided planning sessions, coaching tools, and networking opportunities with leading companies.
In a bid to strengthen the competitiveness and long-term success of local enterprises, ACI, through its internationally recognized coaching arm ActionCOACH Guyana, partnered with the WTCG, the Institute of Private Enterprise Development (IPED), and Demerara Bank Ltd. (DBL) to host a Business Growth Seminar on November 12.
The seminar brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and managers for a morning of strategic education and community-focused business development. Attendees were introduced to globally validated business growth frameworks, including the 6 Steps to Massive Results and the 5 Ways to Grow a Business, presented by Business Master Coach Dr. Vishnu Doerga.
IPED Marketing Manager Robert Williams highlighted the availability of financing and advisory support for micro and small enterprises, reaffirming IPED’s longstanding role in fostering entrepreneurship in Guyana. He noted that several participants have already accessed loans from IPED through collaborative initiatives with the WTCG and ActionCOACH.
Dr. Doerga emphasised the importance of partnerships in national business growth.
“Achieving global standards requires more than ambition—it demands collaboration. When business support organizations like ActionCOACH, WTCG, IPED, and Demerara Bank align their strengths, Guyanese companies gain the ecosystem they need to scale sustainably and compete confidently on the world stage,” he said.
Wesley Kirton, Executive Director of the World Trade Centre Georgetown, reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs.
“WTCG’s mission is to collaborate with institutions and agencies which share its commitment to strengthening business capacity through training so as to expand the growth and development of the Guyana business landscape especially for micro and small entrepreneurs,” he noted.
