The Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMRSC) will stage the final event of its 2025 calendar on November 30 when the Drag Wars 4 International Showdown is held at the South Dakota Circuit.
The meet will decide the season’s drag racing champions across multiple classes, with organisers expecting more than 100 competitors — one of the biggest fields in recent years.
A large contingent of drivers from Suriname is expected to compete, adding an international edge to the quarter-mile contest and intensifying the regional rivalry.
Racing is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m., with organisers promising a full day of high-speed runs and technical displays. Admission is $3,000 for adults and $1,000 for children.
The event will close the GMRSC’s 2025 motorsport season and marks the final opportunity for spectators to see top-tier drag racing this year.
