The British Chamber of Commerce Guyana (BritCham Guyana) has partnered with internationally acclaimed artist Maxi Priest to raise funds for hurricane relief efforts in Jamaica.
The collaboration aims to mobilise support from businesses and individuals across the Caribbean, the UK, Guyana, and the global community to aid recovery and rebuilding on the island.
The fundraising initiative will take place during the networking segment of the BritCham Guyana Business Forum & Networking Event on Thursday, November 6, at Chelsea Football Club’s Stamford Bridge. Activities include a live charity auction, displays of exclusive memorabilia, and cultural and sporting showcases.
“All proceeds will go directly to organisations coordinating relief efforts on the ground in Jamaica,” said BritCham Guyana Chairman Faizal Khan.
Maxi Priest added: “Music and unity have the power to heal and rebuild. I’m honoured to lend my voice to help those affected in Jamaica.”
