High Commissioner of India to Guyana, Dr. Amit Telang, welcomed H.E. Mr. Andrey A. Pritsepov, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Guyana, for an introductory meeting at the Indian High Commission.
During the discussions, the two diplomats addressed bilateral, regional, and global issues, with High Commissioner Telang emphasizing that dialogue and diplomacy remain crucial for resolving conflicts and preserving peace.
The High Commissioner also highlighted the historically warm and friendly relations between India and the Russian Federation, underscoring the significance of the India-Russia special and privileged strategic partnership, as envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and H.E. Mr. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation.
