The community of Mashabo, Region Two, is mourning the loss of its longtime leader, Toshao Henry Hendricks, who passed away on Monday after a brief illness.
Hendricks, born on November 10, 1963, was remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, and community pillar whose leadership was marked by integrity, compassion, and unity.
Villagers described him as “a remarkable man” dedicated to his church, family, and people. Colleagues also reflected on his service, noting that he led Mashabo with pride and dignity.
“My thoughts and prayers go out to the beautiful community of Mashabo, as they lose their leader,” one tribute read.
Hendricks’ passing, residents say, marks the end of an era for the village. His legacy of selflessness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to his people is expected to live on in the community he so faithfully served.
