Students who sat the CSEC and CAPE examinations in Guyana will be able to check their results from 2:00 pm tomorrow via the CXC Student Portal, Education Minister Priya Manickchand said.
She made the announcement yesterday after commissioning the Waramuri Secondary School in Region One.
In 2024, the pass rate in Mathematics fell to 31 per cent from 34 per cent in 2023, while the overall CSEC pass rate dipped slightly from 67.34 per cent to 67.23 per cent.
“My fingers are crossed that we’ve done better,” Manickchand said, adding that while the Caribbean at large faces persistent challenges in Mathematics, including a planned roll-out of new CXC programmes in 2026, Guyana acted early with targeted support initiatives.
These include providing students with scientific calculators, graph books, geometry sets, textbooks, and topic-organised past papers, alongside enhanced in-class monitoring to ensure comprehensive syllabus coverage and effective learning.
The ministry said these strategic efforts, along with broader investment in building second-cycle schools countrywide, are intended to improve academic outcomes nationwide.
Candidates should have their centre number, candidate number, last name, and date of birth ready to access results. National performance highlights will be posted on the ministry’s website and social media platforms.
