Guyanese police have issued a wanted bulletin for Bradley Sampson, also known as “Doggy,” who is being sought for questioning in connection with several criminal offences, authorities said on Tuesday.
Sampson, who is associated with the We Invest in Nationhood (WIN) party, is wanted in relation to charges including threatening behaviour, threatening language, obscene language, disorderly behaviour, and assault, under the Summary Jurisdiction (Offences) Act, Chapter 8:02.
He is also being sought for possession of a firearm and ammunition without a licence, contrary to Section 16(2)(a) of the Firearm Act, Chapter 16:05.
Police have appealed to the public for information on Sampson’s whereabouts, urging anyone with knowledge to contact the nearest police station. Authorities said all information will be treated confidentially.
Meanwhile, leader of WIN, Azruddin Mohamed, in a Facebook post, said Sampson’s actions are not in line with the values held by him and the WIN party. He also apologised to the young woman and promised to do so in person as well.
