Dr Pravesh Harry was re-elected as President for his second and final term of the Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation Inc. (GSSF) when the organisation recently held its Annual General Meeting at the National Resource Centre on Woolford Avenue.
Ryan McKinnon was elected Vice-President, David Dharry as Secretary, and Ray Beharry as Treasurer. Other key positions were filled, including Vidushi Persaud-McKinnon as Assistant Secretary/Treasurer, along with various chairpersons for different shooting disciplines.
Additionally, Assistant Secretary/Treasurer Vidushi Persaud-McKinnon presented the Foundation’s Annual Report, while Treasurer Ray Beharry provided a detailed overview of the externally audited financial statements for the year ending 2024.
Four proposed constitutional amendments aimed at enhancing governance were unanimously approved by members.
The elections were held under the supervision of Javin Singh from the European Union Delegation to Guyana, with Kame Prashad serving as an independent observer.
