Three remanded for Richardson’s murder

Three men accused of the September 2024 murder of Aubrey Richardson, which occurred at Yarrowkabra on the Soesdyke-Linden Highway, were remanded to prison on Tuesday after appearing in court to answer the charge.
A police release said that the accused are 19-year-old Carlton Antwan Sampson, also known as “Skeng” or “Cartoon,” of Circuitville, Soesdyke Highway; 26-year-old Dwayne Neil Winter, known as “Drizzle,” of Section ‘C’ Block ‘Y,’ Golden Grove, East Bank Demerara; and 36-year-old Brutus Taylor of 16th Avenue, Diamond, East Bank Demerara.
They appeared at the Friendship Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was read to them.
The men were not required to enter a plea and were subsequently remanded to prison. The case has been adjourned until May 30, 2025.
