Officials from the Ethnic Relations Commission (ERC) today visited the family of Adrianna Younge to offer prayers, condolences, and support following the tragic death of the young girl.

Chairman Shaikh Moeenul Hack and CEO/Secretary Gomin Camacho led the visit, during which they conveyed the Commission’s deepest sympathies to Adrianna’s grieving family.

In a statement issued after the visit, the ERC strongly condemned the circumstances surrounding Adrianna’s death and expressed full solidarity with the family in their call for justice. The Commission emphasised that those responsible must be held accountable and face the full force of the law.

“We mourn as a nation for this beloved child of Guyana, Adrianna Younge,” the ERC stated. “Whether Christian, Hindu, or Muslim, we are united in sorrow and share in the pain of the tragic loss of this innocent child.”

The Commission also urged the nation to remain steadfast in prayers and committed to seeking justice for Adrianna.
