Racer who slapped rival after track accident faces ban

The Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) has strongly condemned a slapping incident during the final of the Supermoto race at its sanctioned ‘Kart Revival’ event on Sunday, warning that penalties and bans will be enforced.

In a statement, the club denounced the actions of the offender, noting that one racer slapped another following an accident on the track.

GMR&SC said it is actively addressing the matter and will impose sanctions in line with its code of conduct to deter future transgressions.

The club also reminded the public, fans, and enthusiasts that such behaviour goes against the principles of true sportsmanship and camaraderie within the motor racing fraternity.
