Anna Regina Stadium nears completion, set to become regional sports hub

Near completion, the Anna Regina Stadium in Region Two is poised to become a major hub for sports and community events, offering state-of-the-art facilities that enhance both player performance and spectator experience.
The Minister within the Ministry of Public Works, Madanlall Ramraj, joined the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Charles Ramson Jr., and the Minister within the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, Steven Jacobs, for an inspection of the modern cricket facility today.
When completed, the upgraded stadium will feature a modern players’ pavilion, fully outfitted commentators’ booths, expanded seating, improved sanitary facilities, and enhanced access and circulation areas. The upgrades are designed to ensure comfort, safety, and functionality for players, officials, and spectators.
The project represents another milestone in the Government’s ongoing investment in sports infrastructure. Once operational, the facility is expected to host regional and national competitions, while also serving as a venue for community and cultural events across Region Two.
