ActionINVEST Caribbean Inc. has announced the launch of the HerVenture Summit & Expo 2026 and opened registration for the event, scheduled for March 8, 2026, in observance of Women’s History Month. The event will be held under the theme “Her Power in Motion: Building Opportunity, Broadening Influence, Reimagining the Future.”
The summit, held in collaboration with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women and supported by the ExxonMobil Foundation, is expected to bring together more than 400 women entrepreneurs, financial institutions, business leaders, and development partners. The forum will feature live business pitching, innovation showcases, and opportunities for direct engagement with finance and ecosystem partners. Participants and stakeholders are encouraged to register early via https://go.actioninvest.org/HerVentureSummit.
Senior Programme Manager of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, Leanne Baker, said The HerVenture Summit and Expo in 2025 was a vibrant convening that celebrated the successes and potential of women entrepreneurs in Guyana. “We are looking forward to the 2026 iteration and the opportunities it presents for networking, connecting and learning,” she said.
Upasna Mudlier, Business Coach and Trainer responsible for HerVenture, said the expo is focused on practical outcomes for women entrepreneurs. “This year, we are strengthening business skills, access to networks, and readiness for growth. Our goal is to ensure participants leave the Summit better prepared to move their businesses forward,” she said.
The HerVenture initiative has already supported nearly 35,000 women across Guyana through digital skills training. According to Chief Projects Officer Amrita Naraine, the success of the 2025 Summit demonstrated what is possible when women are given access to skills, networks, capital conversations, and visibility. “HerVenture 2026 is about taking that impact further,” she said.
The 2025 Summit convened about 200 participants, combining live business pitching, panel discussions, and an entrepreneurial expo. A live pitch competition awarded $100,000 to support business expansion, demonstrating the role of women entrepreneurs as drivers of inclusive economic growth.
The 2026 Summit seeks to build on this foundation, bringing together entrepreneurs, business leaders, organisations, and partners to shape the future of women-led enterprise in Guyana.
