Azruddin Mohamed charged with multiple traffic offences

Azruddin Mohamed, 38, of Lot 19, Public Road, Houston, East Bank Demerara, appeared in Whim Magistrate’s Court on Friday, January 9, 2026, facing charges of prohibited tinted glass, obscured ID mark, unlicensed and uninsured motor vehicle.

The charges were initially filed on November 14, 2025. A summons had been issued by Magistrate T. Hardy for Mohamed to appear in court on Friday.
He pleaded not guilty to all counts. Bail was granted as follows: prohibited tinted glass, G$5,000; obscured ID mark, G$40,000; unlicensed motor vehicle, G$10,000; and uninsured motor vehicle, G$10,000, totalling G$65,000.
The case was adjourned to January 30, 2026.
