Police present cricket gear to rising Berbice all-rounder

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) Officers’ Cricket Team on Monday presented cricket gear to Lance Corporal Sherica Campbell, who is representing the Berbice Senior Women’s Team in the Guyana Cricket Board’s ongoing 50-overs Inter-County Tournament.

Campbell, stationed at the Police Communications Branch, plays as an opening batter and medium-pace bowler. She rose through the Police Cricket Club and is also a member of the Rose Hall Cricket Club.

Deputy Commissioner (Administration) Ravindradat Budhram, who chairs the Officers’ Cricket Team, led the presentation. He was joined by Senior Superintendent Jermaine Johnson, Superintendent Ronald Alli and Sports Development Officer Colin Boyce.

Budhram congratulated Campbell and said the Force remained committed to supporting its athletes, noting that their achievements promote discipline and pride within the organisation.

The GPF extended best wishes to Campbell as she continues her cricket career.
